Transportation Requests (for Staff ONLY)

Central Point School District contracts with First Student Bus Transportation for all bus transportation needs.

Parents and Staff:  During registration mark “B” for transportation to request bus service. During the school year, for school-to-home or home-to-school (AM or PM bussing) new requests or changes, please contact the school secretary to change the pick up or drop off student transportation field to “B” for bus. The school secretary will submit an R2X form to First Student for new transportation requests to and from school-home. Please allow 3-5 days for regular transportation route requests to be completed and transportation to begin.

Staff ONLY:  Home to school: For any bus changes after registration, please submit a R2X form to First Student for new transportation requests to and from school-home. Be sure to include any accommodations needed as well as any reduced schedules. Please allow 3-5 days for regular transportation route requests to be completed and transportation to begin. If it is at an established stop First Student can usually complete them in 1-2 days.

Once First Student has routed a student, parents and staff should be able to see the bus times and stop locations in ParentVue and TeacherVUE on the student transportation tab.

Special Bussing:  Homeless or foster care students currently residing outside of their school attendance boundary, or special education students needing specialized transportation as per their IEP, please click one of the links below to complete a Request for Transportation form.  Once approved by the district office staff, a R2X form will be submitted to First Student to route the student. Please allow 5-7 days for these transportation routes to be completed.

Once First Student has routed a student, parents and staff should be able to see the bus times and stop locations in ParentVue and TeacherVUE on the student transportation tab. Transportation for these
students will be contacted by First Student with transportation information and a start date.

For Field Trips: Please type in the form above and email to Courtney.Icenhower@firststudentinc.com and gemma.trompeter@firststudentinc.com You will be sent access to the confirmation spreadsheet. Trips will be confirmed within two days. If there are any changes or further information needed, First Student will contact the teacher listed on the form.

Requests should be made at least two weeks in advance. Please call First Student 541-494-6930 if any further clarification is needed.
